Challenge
Dansk Bilglas is a company, who has contact with many customers every year, both physically and via their website. With the desire to optimize the process from the customer request to the actual change of a window in the car, there was a need to create a platform with an intuitive flow. The platform should handle a significant amount of requests, but also make sure to give the visitor a stable and pleasant experience from their first visit on the website to their meeting with the employee, that is going to perform the work. So there was a need to make it possible to complete a booking fast and easy. At the same time, it was a need that the booking should be able to pick up data from external systems.




Solution
Heyday developed an easy and effective booking flow that makes it possible for the customers to book an appointment for having their car window changed fast and easy. With a few tabs, the user will have to give their license plate, and then all the data from the car will be transferred via an integrated third-party system.
The user will choose the location, and the action will define in what place the work will be done, and afterward, the specific department receives the job directly. By that, the process has optimized the way Dansk Bilglas are handling and coordinating tasks and has enabled them to serve their customers faster.
The solution has both made it easier and more informative for the customer and also optimized the in-house working procedure at Dansk Bilglas. At the same time, they are collecting relevant data from their customers.
The booking flow is developed directly in Umbraco and makes it possible for Dansk Bilglas to control the content.
