The challenge
In 2018, the annual campaign DM i Hotdogspisning would once again be developed for Steff-Houlberg. The campaign was developed for use on Facebook, YouTube and a campaign website. The characters, Dan & Lasse was center of the campaign playing the main characters in 12 films with humor in focus.
The solution
To create a campaign that could involve the end-users. They had the possibility to follow Dan & Lasse’s journey from talents to champs. Hotdog-champs, of course. The boys met five different experts that prepared them to go all the way to the final.
One of the big challenges in producing these films was the limit of very short formats – the films could not be more than 20-30 seconds. This short format was required to meet Facebook’s algorithms but it was indeed a challenge for the film team to deliver a memorable story for the users in only 20 seconds. Luckily, our professional and talented employees created the films and that were funny, well-produced and easy to understand.
